Founded in 1969, the New York A&M Club (NYAMC) is one of the largest A&M clubs outside of the state of Texas and it successfully functions as a result of the dedication of its dues paying members.

The NYAMC sponsors a variety of events each year including Aggie Muster, monthly happy hours, and game watching parties for basketball, baseball, and of course, Fightin’ Texas Aggie Football. These events provide Aggies in the New York City metro area with the opportunity to meet old friends, make new ones, establish business contacts, and support our community while representing Texas A&M University.

One of the most important roles of the NYAMC is hosting visiting Aggies in New York.   Throughout the year, the club proudly hosts receptions and other networking events for current students, and the impact that NYAMC members have on these visiting students cannot be overstated. We hear repeatedly that a big reason Aggies feel like they can pull up roots in Texas and relocate to the New York metro area is because of the warm reception they encounter at NYAMC events and the strong presence of the Aggie Network.

In addition to hosting current students visiting New York, the Club is dedicated to helping students from the tri-state area attend Texas A&M University.  As such, the Club awards several scholarships to graduating tri-state area high school seniors that will be attending Texas A&M University in College Station during the subsequent Fall semester.

We appreciate your interest in, and support of, the New York A&M Club and we look forward to seeing you at our next events!
